This time I want to know about Monte Carlos.

It was always my considered opinion that they were the least popular item in the Arnott’s Assorted Cream pantheon. I won’t eat them, and they always seem to be the last thing left in the packet. Mon doesn’t know what I’m talking about, she loves them. [...]

Mark just pointed out that the Wikipedia article I linked doesn’t mention category numbers as such, but rather DECEASED, IMMEDIATE, DELAYED and MINOR. I must have imagined the connection between Category 4 and Deceased in my head. Teach me to post links without going back to reread them… I thought perhaps calling it Category 4 [...]

Sometimes I don’t want to go on a picnic, or down to the park to ride bikes or whatever, that will take up so much of my precious weekend. The things I have to do seem so much more important, I have all these jobs to get done, I don’t have half a day to [...]

I used to always have a few web/code projects on the boil. Most of them are of interest to me only, so it’s no biggy if they get left untouched for a year at a time or more. I seem to be busier these days, so things are pretty much untouched these days, other than [...]

There’s a tactic in Australian Rules recently called flooding, or defensive flooding. Basically as soon as you lose possession you send about 15 of your 18 players into your defensive 50. Probably wasn’t possible even ten or fifteen years ago, but the level of fitness is so much higher these days that players are more [...]

The back seat toughies narrowly won the ‘where do you sit in the class’ poll, although results were slightly skewed by Mark being 6 foot tall and sitting in the middle out of consideration for others.
This morning I noticed that Connor likes his Weet Bix crushed a bit before the milk is poured over them, [...]
