The Carlton Football Club finished last this year for the second time in its long history. I mentioned the issue of draft picks for teams finishing low a few months ago. Last time we finished last, a couple of years ago, we were stripped of draft picks because of breaching the salary cap.

In other hysterical news, a mock anti-terrorist operation went on in Bendigo in the last few days. The simulation was hostages were taken en route to commonwealth games venue.
