So I’m just this guy, you know? I’m a bass guitarist without a band, with a job with a suit and tie, wife and two kids and a house in the suburbs. Sounds like hell on earth right?

It’s not all bad, I’m still very much in love with my wife and I adore my kids. We share a lot of love and laughter.

I read a lot, all kinds of genres. Like everyone else on the internet, I like Terry Pratchett’s books. I like lots of other stuff too. I don’t like much ‘fantasy’ but I do like classic SF like Philip K Dick, Larry Niven and stuff.

I’m medicated for depression. I’ve never seriously tried to kill myself.

I also like a wide range of music. From Irish folk to Iron Maiden, from Motorhead to Madness, from 1936 to 2007 (hmm, better buy a CD this year…). You get the picture.

I’m Catholic, although if I did a test of theology I’m borderline - half Catholic half Emergent/Post Modern Christian. I could be a closet Buddhist. We do lots of things around our parish though, there’s no point worshipping God with words but not actions.
